On a more pleasing front I’ve just read that one of my favouritist bands of the last wee while - Grizzly Bear - are to release (in May hopefully) a follow up to their 2006 epic LP, Yellow House. Now, that is an album that has been on heavy rotation on my iPod since I first got hold of a copy so to say this new one is hotly anticipated is a bit of an understantement. They’re a kind of vocal harmony, experimental folk rock band – but good! The new album’s apparently going to be called Veckatimest which according to the article I read is named after Veckatimest Island, one of the Elizabeth Islands in Massachusetts. Must go there some time.
